The CrossFit philosophy is simple: perform constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements. What does that mean? It means workouts are built around movement patterns that are necessary for performing the tasks of daily living i.e. squatting to lift a heavy object. CrossFit workouts can be scaled to any body type, age, and fitness level.
I’ve always been passionate about working with women in the motherhood transition, and have been doing so for the last 3 years. I am committed to helping women have healthy pregnancy and birth experiences, and a safe return to exercise after baby arrives. When I got pregnant I knew I wanted to continue to incorporate functional fitness into my routine, and I truly believe this contributed to my speedy postpartum recovery.
Recently I became the local BIRTHFIT Regional Director and I’m thrilled to offer this program to mamas in Middle Tennessee. If you’d like to learn more, click here.
If you are interested in joining an incredible community and improving your health and fitness I’d love to hear from you.
“I got to know Brittany as a coach after the birth of my first daughter. I was hesitant to start a fitness program with a newborn, but Brittany has lifted me up, supported me through post pardom and helped me get back into a fitness lifestyle. She also supported me with nutrition as well. Brittany’s medical background mixed with her nutritional and fitness knowledge and specialized interest in postpartum women makes her a unique wealth of knowledge. She was able to help me reach fitness and nutritional goals without jeopardizing my nursing supply. She’s a top notch coach and passionate about what she does.”
