I’ve always been passionate about working with women in the motherhood transition, and have been doing so for the last 4 years. I am committed to helping women have healthy pregnancy and birth experiences, and a safe return to exercise after baby arrives. When I got pregnant I knew I wanted to continue to incorporate functional fitness into my routine, and I truly believe this contributed to my speedy postpartum recovery.
In 2016 I came across an amazing organization called BIRTHFIT and knew almost immediately that I wanted to get involved. It wasn’t long before I was applying and to be the Regional Director for Nashville, Tennessee. Now in my second year in this role, I cannot imagine going through my own motherhood journey without the support of this amazing community.
BIRTHFIT is a movement. It’s about expecting and postpartum moms taking charge of their bodies and their decisions, and supporting one another’s journeys—together and apart.
